TURKEY - GREECE

DAY 1 :- Mon - Istanbul / Kusadasi
Upon arrival at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, you will be transferred to the hotel. Full day tour of Istanbul including the Blue Mosque, famous for its blue tiles and unique with its six minarets built in the name of Sultan Ahmet I. Next we will have a look at the Hippodrome of Constantinople where horse and chariot races used to take place. Then visit the famous Topkapi Palace museum will be visited which was built as the home of the Ottoman sultans. We will see the World Famous Treasury and Imperial Chinese Porcelain sections. Finally we will visit Chora Museum which is famous for well preserved frescos & mosaics. Then transfer to airport for flight to Izmir. Meet at Izmir airport and transfer to Kusadasi hotel. Dinner and overnight. (LD )

DAY 2 :- Tue - Kusadasi / Pamukkale in denizli city
Following breakfast we drive to Selçuk to visit the House of Virgin Mary on top of Mt. Coressos. Then our memorable visit to Ephesus will begin as well as viewing one of the Seven Churches of Revelation, the Temple of Artemis as it was One of the Seven Wonders of Antiquity. Lunch in town. After lunch we will visit the famous local production center with a live fashion show for leather garments. Time will be allocated for shopping. Then continue to Pamukkale. You will tour the Antique City of Hierapolis where calcareous hot springs descending over cliffs have created fascinating travertine in the form of white terraces and basins. Dinner and overnight in Pamukkale. (BLD)

DAY 3 :- Wed - Pamukkale / Konya / Cappadocia
Following an early breakfast we will drive through an interesting landscape where peasants make their living and have lunch en route before arriving in Konya. Konya was the center of the Selçuk Empire as well as the city of Mevlana and his Whirling Dervishes. After visiting the Mevlana Museum we will continue to Cappadocia viewing the Sultanhani Caravanserai on the way. . Dinner and overnight. in Cappadocia. (BLD ) OPTIONAL : Belly Dance show at Cave Restaurant

DAY 4 :- Thu - Cappadocia
Today we visit the incredible Underground City of Ozkonak or Kaymakli where early Christians lived secretly in order to survive and keep their faith. Then picture stops will be given at the Pigeons Valley and at the foot of the Uchisar Castle. Then proceed to the Goreme Valley to visit the rock carved churches hollowed out of volcanic ash. Lunch will be at Avanos village followed by the famous local pottery. Ample time will be allocated for the famous Turkish carpets, jewelry and local souvenir shopping. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia. (BLD)

DAY 5 :- Fri - Cappadocia / Istanbul
Today morning after breakfast , a scenic drive bypassing Ankara over the mountains to Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul. (BL)

DAY 6 :- Sat - Istanbul
This morning after breakfast you have free time until you will be transferred to airport. Transfer to Istanbul Ataturk Airport for flight to Athens Upon arrival at Athens International airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure / to relax. Overnight at hotel. (D)

DAY 7 :- Athens
This morning after breakfast proceed for your half day tour of Athens city & Acropolis. Enjoy a tour of Athens, combining many of the cities principal sights. Drive by the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Panathenian Stadium. See vistas of the Presidential Palace and view the Catholic Cathedral, the Academy, University, National Library and Omonia Square. Visit the Roman Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Acropolis including the awesome Parthenon. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at hotel. (B, L, D)

DAY 8 :- Athens
This morning after breakfast your full day is at leisure. Overnight at hotel. (B, L, D)

DAY 9 :- Depart Athens
This morning after breakfast, morning is free till you will be transferred to airport for your flight back home. (B, L)
